The Cosmic Dust Quilt is a mix and match quilt pattern that allows for fussy cuts and the use of your favorite fat quarter, quarter yard, or half yard bundle.
Cosmic Dust offers three sizes (crib, small, and large throw). Blocks finish at a generous 16". The cover quilt shown is the large throw size made with fat quarters.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Skills Include: Snowball technique, half square triangles, and 1.5" sashing. A consistent 1/4" seam allowance is necessary.
Pattern assumes that the quilter has basic piecing and quilting knowledge.
Width of fabric must be at least 42" for yardage, 17.5" for fat quarters/half yards, and 9" for quarter yards.
